CLYDA ROVERS GAA club is situated in the parish of Mourneabbey in North Cork.With just under a population of 1000 people Mourneabbey is one of the smallest parishes in Cloyne, yet Clyda Rovers is one of the most well known clubs in the county.For a long number of years Clyda played novice gaelic football and hurling but the last 20 years has seen an amazing change in the fortunes of the club.Today the Club plays Senior Football in County Cork and its hurlers Junior A in the division of Avondhu North Cork.
